Area residents are doing everything possible to beat the heat and the
Conservation Council of Ontario is offering a few tips.
Executive Director Chris Winter says you can do some simple things to
stay cool while conserving electricity.

Winter says you should use window fans at night and portable fans
during the day.
He also suggests turning off the lights and closing the oven door.
