Top Line Shines In Ice Dogs Victory

It was the Alex Hester, Dane Feeney and Zach Kercz show at the Dryden Memorial Arena last night.
The three were involved in all of Dryden’s scoring in a 4-2 win over English River in Game 3 of the Best-of-7 SIJHL Quarter-Final.
Hester had 3-goals and an assist, while Kercz scored Dryden’s other goal.
Hester now has 7-points in 3-playoff games.
Ice Dogs Coach Paul Maclean says Hester is becoming the player he knew he would be and adds it was a complete team effort.
Maclean was especially happy with the defensive side of things.
Dryden out shot English River 30-24.
Paul Lamoureux and Dominic Blouin responded for the Miners.
Dryden leads the series 2-1 and Game 4 is set for tonight at 7:30 at the Memorial Arena.
In the other Quarter-Final, the Minnesota Iron Rangers have a 3-0 stranglehold on their series with Wisconsin after a 4-3 victory last night in Spooner.
