It was the Alex Hester, Dane Feeney and Zach Kercz show at the Dryden Memorial Arena last night.
The three were involved in all of Dryden’s scoring in a 4-2 win over English River in Game 3 of the Best-of-7 SIJHL Quarter-Final.
Hester had 3-goals and an assist, while Kercz scored Dryden’s other goal.
Hester now has 7-points in 3-playoff games.
Ice Dogs Coach Paul Maclean says Hester is becoming the player he knew he would be and adds it was a complete team effort.
Maclean was especially happy with the defensive side of things.
Dryden out shot English River 30-24.
Paul Lamoureux and Dominic Blouin responded for the Miners.
Dryden leads the series 2-1 and Game 4 is set for tonight at 7:30 at the Memorial Arena.
In the other Quarter-Final, the Minnesota Iron Rangers have a 3-0 stranglehold on their series with Wisconsin after a 4-3 victory last night in Spooner.
