Cool, wet weather earlier this summer hasn’t helped the tourism industry in Sunset Country, but the Northern Ontario Tourist Outfitters says one of the biggest problems is rude customs officials.
Executive Director Doug Reynolds says things haven’t improved after Federal officials promised, but haven’t delivered, hospitality training for agents, 2 years ago.
Reynolds say the 3 border crossings in the Northwest generate 90% of the complaints from tourists in Ontario.
