Tourist Season Looking Good Early On

SARS and the Iraq War had a negative impact on the tourism season last summer in Northwestern Ontario.
Gerry Cariou is the Executive Director of the Sunset Country Travel Association and says while it is a bit premature to predict what will happen this year, early indications are positive.
Cariou says inquiries are already up 34% .
He adds that in recent talks with Operators, most seem to believe this will be a better year for tourism across the board.
