More on Sioux Lookout Budget

The Mayor of Sioux Lookout credits Senior Managers for limiting the burden on taxpayers as best they could.
Council has passed an 11% tax hike and also raised some user fees.
Kathy Kiepek says the increase could have been much higher because of increased costs all around.
She notes that 80% of the tax hike can be blamed on Municipal levies from outside agencies.
As for capital work, Kiepek warns Sioux Lookout residents not to expect any major projects.
