Tracking Elk

The Ministry of Natural Resources has received some good news about
the elk population in the Cameron Lake area near Sioux Narrows.
MNR officials spotted recent tracks in the area, including prints of
animals born last year.
Biologist Bruce Ranta says a Lakehead University student will be
helping them track and collar the elk this summer.
ASout 100 elk from Alberta were imported to the area almost 4-years
ago.
