The RCMP says they are investigating the drowning death of a 3-year-old child near the Manitoba/Ontario boundary.
The Mounties were contacted Saturday morning.
Police learned the boy had been playing with some other children at the Tulabi Falls Campground in Nopiming Provincial Park.
The youth wandered away and following a quick search, family members found his body in a nearby body of water.
Attempts were made to resuscitate the youth, but to no avail.
The RCMP say foul play is not suspected.
