A father and son are going the extra mile, in a 2012 Chevy Camaro.
Maclean’s Journalist Mark Richardson is traveling across the country on the Trans Canada Highway to mark the 50th anniversary of its completion.
He started on June 4th in St. Johns, Newfoundland and the final stop is Victoria, British Columbia.
Richardson and his son were in Dryden this afternoon, and stopped by the CKDR studio.
Richardson says that after his trip, he is looking to write a few books on his journey.
Along with his tales of the road trip, he also wants to write a “Road trips With Dad” type of book.
The camaro was donated by General Motors, and the trip is sponsored by the Canadian Automobile Association and CAA.
