The TransCanada Highway (Hwy 17) both East and West of Dryden was open again this morning after being closed by yesterday’s March snow storm.
The highway was closed between Vermilion Bay and Kenora after mutiple accidents and was also closed between Dryden and Ignace, and at Falcon Lake in Manitoba.
OPP Advise that traffic is moving slowly due to icey conditions. MTC and contract sanding crews continue to spread sand and salt.
