Consultations with First Nations will be done separately.
Spokesperson Phillipe Cannon says the meetings are meant to inform the public, but also receive feedback which will be part of the National Energy Board filing.
Cannon says in regards to the project, currently they are continuing their field work, studies and gathering information.
Cannon says they will be filing their report to the National Energy Board by the end of this year or very early in 2014.
The proposed project would see Alberta’s oil head to the east coast.
