TransCanada Emergency Exercise In Dryden

A bit of commotion in Dryden today as TransCanada Pipelines and local emergency personnel participated in a major emergency training exercise.
The exercise simulated a serious motor vehicle collision on Colonization Avenue North around 9 o’clock.
The south end of Scott Street and the north end of Theil Road and Leach Road were closed.
The crash scene was near TransCanada and Union Gas facilities.
TransCanada officials say they carry out emergency exercises on a regular basis to ensure the safety of their workers and the public.
