Dryden Police are warning residents of various transient traders, hawkers, and peddlers in the Dryden area.
Police says some peddlers are using high-pressure tactics and are targeting elderly persons.
In most cases the cost of the product they are selling is several times higher than one could purchase locally.
Police say the public should be careful when making these type of purchases.
It is recommended that buyers utilize a cooling off period and have the seller leave and return the following day at which time the purchase could be made or declined.
All traders must purchase a license from the city for 555.00 dollars.
