Trappers Off to Western Finals

A silver medal performance for the Dryden Trappers at the Manitoba
Provincial Peewee Fastball Championships in Flin Flon.
The Trappers finished the round-robin with a 2-1 record with
11-1 and 7-3 wins over Fisher River and the host team.
Dryden’s only loss was to Peguis as the game was called after 5
innings because of rain.
The Trappers won their semi-final game 7-3, setting up a
rematch with Peguis.
Dryden lost in the final after the game was again called in the
6th inning, with the Trappers down 1.
The Trappers performance has earned them a berth in the Western
Championships August 4th in Alberta.
