Travel Advisory Issued

A Winter Weather Travel Advisory in effect for much of northwestern Ontario Friday.

A narrow but intense snow squall band, associated with the passage of a cold front, is expected to move across the north.

Snowfall is expected to be in the area of 4 to 8 centimetres but strong winds could result in limited or reduced visibility.

Travel is expected to be hazardous due to the blowing snow.
