Treasury Metals says new drill results from the first phase of its 2012 exploration program at the Goliath gold project near Wabigoon shows there is potential to expand.
The company says they have found high and low grade gold values in a new area northeast of the current exploration area.
Officials say the new area spans roughly 11.5-kilometres.
The drilling so far has also indicated the possibility of additional open pit material to the west of the current proposed pit.
Additional drilling is planned for later this year.
