Treaty #3 Justice Program

Ontario’s Regional Justice of the Peace feels Grand Council Treaty #3 is taking the right steps to decrease the number of aboriginals being incarcerated.
The First Nation has received over $200,000 in Federal funding for its new Justice Program.
David Fraiser says the key to eliminating racism within the judicial
system is education.
The program is geared towards strengthening bonds between aboriginal
people and non-natives in the justice system.
