Treaty #3 Meets Today

Members of Grand Council Treaty #3 are meeting to elect a new Grand Chief today.
The gathering on Pow Wow Island follows four days of meetings last month which were held to decide the fate of Leon Jourdain.
The leadership of Jourdain came under question after he was charged with impaired driving last year and sexual assault this past February.
There’s been no word on who’s running for the leadership of Treaty #3 or how long the actual voting will take.
