The Chief of the Treaty Three Police Service has been suspended from his job, with pay.
The Executive Council of the Treaty Three Police Services Board met on Wednesday to hand down the suspension to Chief Louie Napish.
The board says due to the nature of the issues, no details will be provided until after the full board has a chance to review the matter.
Their next meeting will take place, in camera, on July 24th.
In the meantime, Deputy Chief Jeff Skye has been appointed to fill the roll of Chief for the duration of the suspension.
