Health and medicine is the focus of a youth conference taking place in Couchiching First Nation.
It’s aimed at getting young people to think about careers in health care while thinking about their own health.
Grand Council Treaty 3’s Donna Anderson says part of the conference is also looking at other youth issues such as empowerment, community development, and suicide prevention.
The three day conference begins today.
