Treaty Three Police get a new HQ

The Treaty Three Police say they will be moving into a new
headquarters next August.

A sod turning ceremony took place yesterday afternoon in
Kenora.

Brian Ruperty is chief of the aboriginal police service and says the headquarters will have about 14 thousand square feet of office space and will include the latest in security and technology.

The 5.5 million dollar building will also include jail cells.

Treaty Three Police currently has 75 officers in 23 communities across the region.
