Tri-Forces Drug Bust

The Tri-Forces Drug Unit has seized about 50 thousand dollars worth of cocaine after a vehicle was stopped on Highway 17 near Kenora.

Police pulled over the vehicle Tuesday morning around 4:30 as part of an on-going investigation.

A search of the car turned up 511 grams of cocaine and over a thousand dollars worth of prescription drugs.

51 year old Rosario Moffatt and 50 year old Maria Durbin
have been charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.

They are currently being held in custody in Kenora pending a bail hearing.
