Trial Date Set For Protestors

A trial date has been set for 3-Grassy Narrows women charged in last
summer’s blockade of Highway 17A and English River Road.
Adrienne Swain, Bonnie Swain and Chrissy Swain will appear in Court
July 12th.
Each woman faces 2-counts of mischief.
The Swain’s were protesting clear-cut operations on Grassy Narrows
First Nation.
A number of other protestors face charges in relation to the
2-blockades.
