Trick or Treater injured in Vermilion Bay

Dryden OPP say a 7 year old Vermilion Bay girl was injured while trick or treating last nite.
The child was struck by a vehicle in front of the Fire Hall & suffered a fractured skull.
Machin Firefighters treated the girl while waiting for the ambulance to bring her to Dryden Regional Health Center.
The child was medi-vac’d to Winnipeg but is doing well this morning & expected to return home tomorrow.
No charges will be laid.
