An environmental group says a large forest area in northwestern ontario doesn’t need more logging activity.
The Wildlands League released a report on the Whiskey Jack forest this week.
Chris Henschel is the author of the report and says the forest is in a bad way and work needs to be done to restore it.

Abitibi-Consolidated has the Sustainable Forest Licence for the Whiskey Jack Forest and says its management plan was approved earlier this year by the Ministry of Natural Resources.
