Trio Fined $4,950 For Illegal Moose Hunt

Three men from southern Ontario have been fined a total of $4,950 for illegal moose hunting in the Cedar Lake area.
Matthew Hodgkins and Michael Hodgkins pleaded guilty to unlawfully hunting without a license.
Jacob Palmer pleaded guilty to unlawfully attaching a game seal to a moose killed by someone else.
The moose was seized and forfeited to the Crown.
Mathew Hodgkins and Michael Hodgkins’ rifles were seized.
The fine follows a Ministry of Natural Resources investigation relating to the October 2013 incident.
