Troy Williams Named Rookie Of The Month In SIJHL

A great start to the season for a local member of the Dryden GM Ice Dogs.
Troy Williams has been named SIJHL Amyotte’s Awards and Promotions Rookie of the Month.
The 16-year-old defenceman has averaged nearly a point-per-game with 3-goals and 10-assists in 15-games.
Dryden GM has a 5-1-3 record in contests he registers at least one point in and he’s tied in overall production among first-year players in the SIJHL.
Alex Maticic of English River also received consideration.
