Keewatin-Patricia District School Board Trustees have a better idea as to where the Ontario Government is headed.
Education Minister Gerard Kennedy met with School Officials from across Northern Ontario last week.
Dryden Trustee Ed Arnold says talks with the new Minister were encouraging as he understands that Northern Boards are facing a massive funding shortfall right now.
Transportation funding and state of the small schools are serious concerns for the Board right now.
Arnold says so far the Government seems willing to help out Northern Boards.
