TTC Not Getting Involved In Bombardier Dispute

The Toronto Transit Commission says the Thunder Bay Bombardier labour dispute is between the company and its workforce.
The union representing more than 900 striking workers, asked the TTC not to accept new streetcars built by replacement workers.
However, their urgings fell on deaf ears.
Executive Director of Corporate Communications for the TTC, Brad Ross, says vehicles will continue to be received and commissioned.
Ross says vehicles will go through a rigorous process of safety testing, once received.
Bombardier is currently building new TTC streetcars, scheduled to be released on August 31.
