Sarah Madussi scored a pair of goals for the Steelers, while Steven Laidlaw and Dana Loder added singles.
Replying for the United were Ray Cook, Reed McCready, Lily Cordeiro and Luc Wittig.
The other match-up saw Kicking and Screaming down Celtic 5-1.
Leading the way with goals were Adam Larson, Daniel Npemba, Mike Bell, Tristan Ilko and Evan Armit.
Liam Jones replied for Celtic.
