There will be no shortage of activities this Summer at the Dryden Public Library.
Chief Executive Officer Dayna DeBenedet was a guest on the CKDR Morning Show Tuesday and she says a number of events are scheduled including the ‘Dryden Reads’ challenge.
Anyone can come into the library and pick-up a special bookmark.
For every book you read, you will receive stamps, and the more you collect gives you a better chance to win a great prize.
The theme is Canada 150 and the goal is to get Dryden’s favourite mascot Max the Moose home from a cross-country trip.
The TD Summer Reading Club is another feature.
Kids are being encouraged to pick up books and read for the Summer.
Every Wednesday afternoon from 1:00-2:30, kids can take part in crafts, games and other activities at the library.
