The Kenora OPP have charged two people after a 2 day crime spree.
Last Friday a multi vehicle accident shut down Highway 17 at Burma Road.
During the highway closure police were notified of an eastbound vehicle travelling at high speeds.
The vehicle which was reported stolen in Manitoba approached the road closure but drove on the shoulder of the highway to avoid police.
Officers were not able to locate the vehicle.
On Saturday OPP received a complaint of suspicious people inside a house in the Pellatt Township.
On scene police located the suspect vehicle and arrested the two occupants inside the residence.
As a result 46 year old Scott Storey from Midland Ontario and his 21 year old female passenger Jamie Weibel from Winnipeg face a long list of charges including break and enter and possession of property obtained by crime.
Both appeared in bail court on Sunday to answer to the charges.
