Two Contracts For Atikokan Generating Station

It’s the next step for the Atikokan Generating Station.
The Ontario Power Generation awarded two companies with contracts to supply 90,000 tonnes of biomass to the generating station.
Atikokan Renewable Fuels will supply 45,000 tonnes of biomass wood pellets and Resolute Forest Products Canada will also provide 450,000 tons.
Over 150 new jobs are expected to be created through the wood pellet supply.
