Elementary Teachers across the Keewatin-Patricia School District will
be casting strike votes at the end of the month.
The Teachers Union has announced that voting will be taking place
across the Province starting January 17th as contract talks continue with
the Government.
Officials say without a commitment from the Liberals on prep time,
Teachers could be in a work-to-rule situation by March.
The Local Union has 2 days of talks planned with the School Board
starting next Monday and an update on negotiations is expected Wednesday.
