Two people have suffered injuries in two separate accidents involving all-terrain vehicles in the Kenora area.
Both accidents took place within an hour of eachother Saturday evening.
The O.P.P. say two ATV’s were trying to climb a steep rock
cut near Highway 17, when one of the vehicles began to slip on some rock.
The front end of the ATV ended up flipping over onto the driver, who was not wearing a helmet.
A 50 year old man sustain a serious back injury and was charged for failing to wear a helmet.
The other accident took place a few minutes later, when
a 17 year old male, lost control of his ATV while driving along the Homsteake Road.
He was thrown from the vehicle and had to be treated for
broken ribs and a bruised lung.
