Two Ottawa area people have been arrested following a high speed chase between Kenora and Vermillion Bay.
The incident began late Tuesday afternoon near Willard Lake after a 1995 Monte Carlo was clocked going 163 kilometers an hour in a 90 kilometer zone.
An O.P.P. cruiser tried to pull over the vehicle, but it
turned down the Experimental Lakes Road.
Police pursued the stolen car for 12 kilometers before it finally crashed into the bush.
A 45 year old man and a 41 year old woman from Kanata have been charged with possession of property obtained by crime over five thousand dollars.
