Two Youth in Police Custody

It was a busy Christmas for Dryden Police with over 100-calls for service during a 4-day period.
On Christmas Day, Police investigated a string of break and enters to homes in the Thunder and Wabigoon Drive area’s.
A 17-year-old man and a 15-year-old woman were taken into custody and Police say during their arrest, the youths assaulted the officers.
Police say the two face counts of assaulting a peace officer, break and enter, possession of stolen property and breaching numerous court undertakings.
Police say the two were also found to be responsible for several thefts out of patient’s rooms at the Dryden Hospital.
