Two Youths Rescued During Canoe Trip

Two area youths are home safe and sound after failing to return from a canoe trip on Wabigoon Lake.
The pair were reported missing early this morning which led to a ground and air search by OPP and the Ministry of Natural Resources.
A helicopter spotted the youths on a small island.
Officials say they became stranded after the ice shifted, blocking their travel route.
An OPP boat was dispatched to pick up the pair.
