The University of Manitoba Hockey team has signed a former Dryden Ice Dog.
Winnipeg resident Tyler MacDonald will be on the Bisons opening day roster.
Officials say they have been impressed with his play making and vision on the ice.
MacDonald finished last season with 14 goals and 26 assists in 47 games.
