Unemployment Remains Steady

The unemployment rate has remained steady in Northwestern Ontario.
Human Resources Development Canada says the jobless rate stood at 6.5 percent in February, the same as the month previous.
That compares to a rate of 7.1 percent for the entire province.
HRDC says more jobs are being created, especially in the services-producing sector but more people are also entering the workforce in the region.
