Dryden and Thunder Bay are listed in a resolution adopted by Kenora Council to try and tackle the problem of the urban deer population.
Kenora Councillor Sharon Smith says the three will lobby the Ministry of Natural Resources to reduce the cost of deer hunting permits within city limits.
Smith suggests if they can convince the MNR to drop the price of permits to $10, more people might be willing to take part in the hunt.
Smith says the current fee of $45 for a deer hunting tag is just too high.
Dryden held a public meeting in January 2012 to address the nuisance deer problem but nothing has come from that meeting and the current boundaries remain in place.
