Unifor has donated $2,000 to the Hoshizaki House Women’s Shelter in Dryden.
The donation was made Wednesday in recognition of the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women.
The money comes from the union’s Social Justice Fund.
In all, Unifor distributed $146,000 to 73 women’s shelters across Canada.
