Lower natural gas prices for northwestern Ontario users.
Union Gas says it’s received approval from the Ontario Energy Board to decrease rates province-wide beginning April 1.
For its northwestern Ontario customers, the decrease amounts to a 44-dollar reduction on the bills over the course of a year for the average user.
The decrease is to reflect the lower market price for natural gas.
