Ontario’s High School teachers are promising to start the new school year in the classroom.
Ontario Secondary School Teachers Federation President Harvey Bischof made that promise as he opened OSSTF’s Leadership Conference taking place in Toronto.
Contracts for high school teachers expire at the end of this month, but Bischof says they will do everything the can to provide students with the best education possible.
Bischof says however that they’ll go into bargain with proposals that are good for education and the province’s economic future.
