An Air Canada flight had to be diverted to Thunder Bay after police claim the crew complained about an unruly passenger.
Police were called to the airport on Friday afternoon at around 4 o’clock.
Flight officials briefed officers after the plane landed and a man surrendered peacefully.
Police have charged 31-year-old Awali Yusuf Abdi of Ottawa with assault.
