9:11 Update
Provincial Police and other emergency personnel remain on scene at barricade. Police stress there is no threat to the public or any other individuals in area.
Provincial Police are reporting a man barricaded in a home on Henderson Road north of Dryden.
Police say residents have been evacuated and the emergency response team is on the scene.
Police also say the Tactical Response Team is currently en route to the scene.
Provincial Police say there is no current danger to public safety and school buses for the area have been re-routed for both Henderson and North Road.
If you have questions about buses you are asked to contact the Northwestern Ontario Student Services Consortium and police say if you have any other questions or concerns you are asked to contact the OPP.
Henderson Road is just off the Ski Club Road, North of Dryden.
