The campaign trail has been a busy one for the candidates in the Kenora Riding.
Conservative Greg Rickford says he’s running on his record as a first year MP.
Rickford says its a record of listening to communities and putting the priorities of constituents first.
He adds his office has worked with First Nations communities and non-First Nation communities on key projects
Liberal Roger Valley stresses its time for change, noting voters have the choice of the Harper regime or the Liberals help for families.
Valley says Northerners can’t believe the Canadian Government can be held in contempt and have nothing happen to them.
Valley is also concentrating on social media to get his message across.
NDP Candidate Tania Cameron says voters have 2-major concerns, a severe shortage of health care professionals as well as pension issues for seniors.
Cameron says seniors are concerned about their way of life because they aren’t receiving enough money to cover the cost of basic living expenses.
Independent Kelvin Chicago-Boucher is demanding accountability at all levels of Government.
Green candidate Mike Schwindt continues to campaign on aboriginal issues in the Far North.
