UPDATE 5:15AM: Highway 17 is now OPEN in both directions between Dryden and Ignace.
It was closed overnight and for part of the morning due to poor weather conditions.
A lineup of traffic and transports headed east of Dryden was still at a standstill as of 4:50am.
There were also other incidents in the Vermilion Bay and Wabigoon areas but all closures have been cleared
You’re asked to use caution if you do have to travel today.
