OPP have now confirmed that nine people have died in the tragic fire in Pikangikum First Nation earlier this week.
The bodies will be transported to the Office of the Chief Coroner and Forensic Pathology Services in Toronto, where post mortems will be conducted.
The scene investigation is continuing and expected to be complete by the end of the weekend or early next week.
