Update on Amesdale Area Fire

Firefighters are making progress as a forest fire burns in the Rugby Lake-Amesdale area.
Debbie MacLean, with the Ministry of Natural Resources says the blaze covers about 1140-hectares, down slightly from earlier this week.
The blaze was sparked on Friday but the cause has not been pinpointed.
An emergency order remains in place, which means that certain areas around the fire can be restricted, such as roads and property.
Residents and cottagers along Richan Road are still required to sign in and out.
Meantime, the MNR centre in South Porcupine, east of Timmins is sending two additional crews to battle the blaze.
More than three dozen crews are working on the flames.
