Accident Involving Pedestrian and Transport Truck

With the arrival of spring, comes the usual increase in traffic.
Dryden Police were called to an accident on Highway 17 last night, after a pedestrian was struck by an eastbound pulp and paper truck.
Police say the female was attempting to cross the highway when she walked in front of the transport.
She was taken to Dryden Hospital where she was treated and released with minor injuries.
No charges were laid.
